Scientific Name: Draco Pratum Maculosus
Common Name: Spotted meadow dragon
Habitat: Bright meadows of green grass and flowers, most notably in
the United States and Europe.
General Description
Not all spotted meadow dragons are spotted. In fact, they have come to be decorated with a myriad of shapes and patterns, some being spotted, others checkered or swirled or striped. Each is different, but all are brightly colored as the blossoms of Spring. They are never much larger than a three-month-old kitten and almost always as playful, cavorting through their afternoons with enthusiastic, grass-topping hops and never-ending rounds of follow-the-leader. With the coming of twilight they end their games and browse through the sweet green shoots of tender grass, finally settling down into happy dreams in which they continue, forever and always, to play.
